One of the core concepts behind the Life Garage is that all people are capable of change, but change is a journey which is the responsibility of the individual. As the title Assistant Life Mechanic suggests, it is not our role to change people or do the work for them. Instead it is our role to assist them to be their own Life Mechanic, building the skills, tools and resources they need to create and sustain change for themselves. It is our role to show them life doesn’t have to be as it is.
